About vinyl siding

Vinyl siding is plastic panels that lock together and hang on nails. It costs less than most other siding, needs no paint, and cleans with a hose. Vinyl grows and shrinks with heat and cold, so the installer must leave the nails a little loose and leave gaps at the ends of each panel. Panels nailed too tight buckle and wave in summer.
