What Directorii does well
- A written project guarantee. Directorii offers deposit protection, and a larger workmanship and materials guarantee once a contract is signed, for projects registered with it. We offer nothing like it.
- A real vetting step. Directorii says it screens and approves each contractor by hand, with a nationwide background check, and asks for an average of at least 4.5 stars on Google.
- Help when no one is listed. If no contractor is listed for a search, Directorii says its staff will find contractors by hand. It also has homeowner and contractor apps.

What Directorii charges
Directorii's contractor page says membership costs $498 a year, with no contract. A contractor also pays $99 for a background check, which is not refundable. For every Full Coverage Guarantee issued, Directorii takes 1% of the total project price. The same page says "Don't pay for leads" and that Directorii does not guarantee leads.
For homeowners, the FAQ says Directorii's services are free. The home page also offers a professional contractor match for $49. We found no page that explains who pays the $49 or what it covers.
Points where their own pages differ
- The guarantee amount. The homeowner page leads with $250,000. The contractor page talks about a $30,000 guarantee. The guarantee page lists both as maximum amounts without saying which applies when.
- The guarantee and the terms. The terms of use limit Directorii's liability to one ruble and do not mention the guarantee.
- Review count. The home page description says 126,000+ verified reviews at 4.9 stars. The same page's structured data lists 16 reviews at 5 stars.
Directorii's FAQ also says an unregistered project may not be covered. If the guarantee matters to you, register the project and ask Directorii in writing which amount applies.
What we do differently
- A lower fee, and no extra charges. A Claimed Profile costs $129 a year. No background-check fee, and no share of the job.
- Free to be listed. A firm is listed once its phone works and its website is live. There is no application fee. A free profile shows the phone number and a Call button.
- One firm per request. The form names the recipient or explains that the request waits for a city claim. We keep it for 90 days from submission, then delete it.
- Our own reviews. Homeowners write reviews on our site, and payment never changes which reviews show or the rating.
We are honest about the limits. We check contact details, not the work. We run no background checks and offer no guarantee. If a vetted list with a written guarantee is what you need, Directorii offers that and we do not.
